Nefu Fest
The NEFU International Festival (NefuFest) will be the largest student event on campus and is free and open to the public. It will be held for the first time on the 7th of November, 2016.
It will give foreign students the opportunity to:
- Share your culture, traditions, and heritage with the Yakut people.
- Promote and celebrate diversity among students and community members.
- Encourage a rediscovery of international students’ own background.
- Provide an opportunity for unity among the international students at NEFU.
- Provide a platform for international student groups to represent their cultures.
At the festival each country can do this by showcasing their culture with booths,
performances, food samples, and interactive cultural activities.
